I was scrolling dozens of websites looking for reasonably priced wedding invitations forever and I could not find something that I loved. The ability to completely alter fonts, colours and layout using Basic Invite was fantastic.

I initially ordered two completely different invitations which I had custom designed for our wedding. In processing my order Basic Invite recognized they were for sample purposes and sent me a beautiful book with colour samples and other information. Although it proved expensive to print and ship one of each design to Australia to see samples, it was worthwhile.

Enquiries using the online chat were answered promptly and staff were helpful, including promptly reviewing my final order and making minor adjustments (such as aligning text) so they would be perfect. The order was processed and dispatched to Australia efficiently. My only criticism of the software is that unless you enter a complete address in the address book, the envelopes won't be printed. This meant I couldn't utilize the printing service for invitations that I wanted to hand deliver and didn't require a postal address. It also wasn't really compatible with my Mac and I was fortunate to have access to a Windows computer to design and order my invitations.

The quality of the invitations is great and I've had many compliments - I loved the final product a lot more than I thought I would.

My overall experience with Basic Invite was great - highly recommend for fussy brides that want to ensure every detail is to their liking.
