I played around for DAYS on various highly recommended and impressive wedding invitation designer websites before making my final decision to order through Basic Invite. It won out over big players like Minted and Vistaprint for its ability to customize 90% of the template — as a designer by trade, this was very important to me. My first plan was to design and custom print my invitations, but my vision was quoted $17 per invitation! As that was WAY outside our budget, I found a beautiful compromise in the Basic Invite template we chose. I was very happy to be able to pick custom colours and choose from their wide variety of fonts, even to be able to move text around and add/remove — I felt very in control. It was a very good experience using their online design software, their prices are reasonable, the product is very good quality, and they shipped in good time.
